Colourful Stamping

I am hosting a challenge at Splitcoaststampers for the Dare to Get Dirty challenge series, held this time of year, annually.
My challenge is to use water colour powders to stamp your image.
I love using my powders, mostly due to their brilliant colour results and, a different result each time I use them.

I use Ken Oliver's Color Burst powders. There are other powders that can be used, such as Brusho or Bisters or PaperArtsy.

I used a larger image stamp above, and a small image stamp below, and I love the results from each of them.

For both of my cards I used powders from the Caribbean set, being Chartreuse, Lime Green and Tangerine. I found it easier to activate the powders by spritzing the stamp lightly to start, and I rubbed the water with my finger into the raised portion of the rubber stamp. Once you get that part down pat, it goes very quickly.

For the card above, I die cut the piece with my wonky rectangle die and attached the panel to a bright green base. I stamped the sentiment on another piece of card stock using Ranger Archival Ink Monarch Orange, then die cut it and attached with foam tape.

For the "heartfelt thanks" card, I did the stamping then die cut with Spellbinders Nested Hearts, cutting a few different sizes. I backed the larges heart with mauve card stock heart, and die cut one of the thanks with the same paper, along with a very dark purple card stock. I stamped the heartfelt using Ranger Archival Ink in and finished with a few sequins.

I hope you have enjoyed these cards and thank you for joining me today.
