Poinsettia Christmas

I am up on the Scrap'n Stamp Blog today with this card, which I did a bit differently this time. Below I detail my process.
I started by making a mixture of Color Burst in Turquoise in the lid of one of my storage containers which I have lined with saran. This is a small amount of Color Burst and about 3 spritzes of water. I do not want too much water for this process. I stamped first with the Turquoise, then did the same process but changing the Color Burst to Phthalo Green.
I then stamped my image with Versamark embossing ink and applied the colour with a paint brush. You can see there is a lot of colour that I am applying to the stamp. I apologise it is shaky, I was taking the picture with my phone and only had one hand free!
This is the stamped image once the stamping with both colours is completed. I then inked up the stamp lightly with Ranger Paradise Teal and Ranger Library Green, added Versamark over it and heat embossed with the clear pearl embossing powder. This gave the flowers back their definition.
I should also mention that I die cut my panel with My Favorite Things Wonky Rectangle STAX before I started my panel.
I then put the panel back in the lid with new saran and added Color Burst in Lemon Yellow only. The bits of turquoise and green come from the previous stamping, and of course the mixture of the colours.
I prepared my panel by attaching fun foam to the back using Be Creative Tape. I attached the panel and had the other side prepared as well, so I would not have to wait to attach it to my card. I am so impatient! I then splattered acrylic paint in turquoise to the panel using a liner brush. I like the different splatters I get from this brush.
I wanted yellow centres for my flowers, but I did not have any of the Nuvo Dandelion Yellow Crystal drops, which is now on my wish list, so I used Liquid Pearls in Yellow.
I added a scattering of sequins, then finished the inside.
Using the Wonky Rectangle die again for my inside panel I stamped the sentiment, that is included in the set using the Ranger Library Green, then added the snowflakes from the set using Ranger Paradise Teal.

Your art inspires me every time! This poinsettia card is very pleasing to me because of the unexpected color palette.
