Wishes

I was determined that I would join in with more of the CAS challenges hosted by the CAS group who do monthly challenges for Watercolour, Stencils, Mix Up and Christmas.

This month I have played in the Mix Up challenge, and this card I did for the CAS Stencil challenge.

I started my card with my Neenah card stock die cut panel sponging on Distress Oxide colours in Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry and Abandoned Coral. I used my Picket Fence Life Changing Brushes as I did not want the colours put on heavy for this card, which for me happens when I used the Tim Holtz blending tools.
I am using another stencil from A Colorful Life called Doodle Wheels for my background, and for the challenge doing the ghosting technique, which is to lay your stencil on top of your coloured panel and spritz with lots of water then remove the stencil very quickly.

I then stamped the Dandelion etc., and the sentiment using Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black.
For ease of reference I have added Loll Thompson's video showing the ghosting technique to my Awesome Tutorials page.

Thank you for joining me today. Following are Affiliate Links for the products linking to both Canadian & USA.
