Life is Beautiful

I have named this Life is Beautiful not only because I had the sentiment, but I love the colours, which I think make for a great look.

I used my Nuvo Aqua Flow brushes for the first time, and I have had them a few months! I had this vision that this is what they would look like, so I am so pleased they work as I had hoped, especially given I just ordered more colours.

The image is from Technique Junkies and is called City Watercolors. I am hosting the Clean and Simple Challenge at Splitcoaststampers, which is called "Think Clusters", and I was thinking of this image when I named the challenge.
In my Misti I stamped the image using Ranger Archival ink in Jet Black. I then proceeded to water colour using the three (3) colours in this particular set. In some areas I used the brush direct to paper and brought the colour out, and in other areas I layed the colour down and picked it up, changing the intensity of the colour with water, i.e. the black is watered down a lot.

Once I finished the image, I matted it with a deep purple and attached that to my card base. I added the vellum strip with my sentiment stamped in the Manganese Blue, along with a few crystals.
I am very happy with the way it turned out, and I hope you have enjoyed it as well. I have done a video on my process, which follows along with affiliate links to the products used, for both USA, then Canadian (when available), at no extra cost to you. I appreciate your support.
